Nobody's clock keeps good time. It's a known problem with no cure. Amazing how a $90K "clock" performs so badly...

Got the same problem; a niggle that is of minimum bother to me, but hopefully enough people will complain so Porsche will do something to correct the problem (as in recall).

Has anyone had their's fixed already? Just curious if P has addressed the issue but curing on case by case basis.

I have a battery maintainer and use the car every several days, the clock still fails behind.
My 2000 Chrysler Concord almost never loses time.

My clock was loosing about a minute a week. After a year of resetting it weekly it now keeps pretty accurate time. It may be that after slapping it around it finally got the message

Talking clock problem

most of the time it shows wrong. it was not that bad the first days. it bacame worse and worse. it jumps back and forward ie: 13.20 suddenly 13.50. then 13.21 then suddenly 14.20. i contacted to the service and they tald me that they will need an inspection to determine the origin of the problem. (most likely the instrument panel will change, since the clock info is kept there as they informed me). we will see what is gonna happen
