Aristal, I have never done this with powder coat. We usually do the whole wheel. But I'm going to assume the procedure would be to strip the wheel, Polish the specific areas and then cover the polished areas before powder coating. It's a little labor intensive. My powder coater says it's possible but I'm concerned how clean the lines between polished and powder coat will come out. Our powder coater needs to see it in person to give an exact price but a good approximate price would be $250 per wheel. I'm curious how flying low did his, I agree with you they look awesome.

Hi guys, this isn't powder coating, it's paint. It was done for me by Wheel Enhancement in Culver City, Ca. and it was all set up by my dealer. Wheel Enhancement has the wheels in stock so they painted four of them, sent them to my dealer, we switched them out, and sent my original wheels back to W/E as the core charge, only a couple of hours down-time. The whole deal with shipping and everything was $1300, not bad I think. I spent another $300 on the RUF black lug bolt kit to finish it off. I think it came out nicely, especially with a yellow car. By the way, they also painted the inside of the wheels black so they look clean a little longer when I'm feeling lazy.

$175 to PC a wheel?
WOW never heard anything even close to that much. Also guys, it's possible to powdercoat and keep a chrome lip. But it will be easier to go this route if you pick. www.wheel-repairs.com Contact them, they just did this for a co-worker of mine w/ his stock wheels on his 2002 996. They did a gunmetal center and polished the lip. Looked great!

bullitt44 is offering a great price. Our price includes dismounting, stripping, powder coating, remounting, rebalancing and installing. I don't know how it's done but If it can all be done for $450 a set through bullitt44 I would jump on it.
