powder-coating rims

I am thinking about powder-coating my stock lobster forks and would like to see if you guys know of any good place in the bay area. And how much should I expect to pay? Thanks in advance fellas!

very nice Captain, how much did that cost? Is it possible to have the lips chromed?

yo captain, you think i can borrow two of your rims, from either side, and fit them on to my white car to see if it'll look good first before i have mine done???

yes, it's possible to chrome the lips but will cost extra, expect to pay roughly 50-100 a wheel. You might also want to consider painting them instead. That is how wheels are from the factory.

Are those rims coated pure black, metallic black, or indeed a very dark Anthracite metallic???

Some black, wheel centre caps, with the coloured Porsche Crest would set the wheels off nicely!

And excuse my ignorance, but is "powder" like anodizing or paint or what? Is it durable or will it eventually show the underlying metal color?

I think is metallic black or powder , I not sure, you see that change color.

you're right my friend, I just remember what the guys at 969motorsport did and is POWDER COATED. You excuse, I'm not.
