H&R Lowering Springs for 997 with and without PASM
I have 10 sets of 997 H&R Springs that work with and without PASM. Several 997 guys have run them already with great luck! Just do a search for 997 H&R on the forum. Springs lower the front and rear about 1.2 inches overall. Increase chassis stiffness, improved handling, lowered stance.

Do you know how much of a drop can be gained by these?
And is it fact or fiction that after a spring install it takes time to 'settle'?
Sounds like when you buy shoes a half size too small the assistant always says "they will stretch you know".
So you buy them and after wearing them twice they are still too darn tight,so you relegate them to the back of the wardrobe and never bother to wear them again, lol!!

Drops the car 1.2 inches in the front and rear. Settling takes about a whole 2 mins. Pull your car off the lift and drive it back and forth. Might settle another .1 or .2 more. Thats it.
I like the analogy. Do shoes hug the road and make your pants wet Go for the springs!

Man, the ride height is perfect after the H&Rs.
Question: can the stock 997s shock absorbers handle these new springs? In my experience, using aftermarket springs, w/o replacing the factory shocks, can lead to a crappy ride down the road.
Is it advisable to change the springs, while leaving everything else the same?
Thanks.

You can totally use the springs on the factory struts. Maybe 80,000 miles the struts will go bad. Most people who buy springs always use the factory struts. I will say you will be fine! Let me know.
