The Urban Dictionary defines it as 'not rich, not poor.

I think that was the movie that made Dice Clay want to kill himself.

p.s. If I lived in Malibu I wouldn't leave much either! Currently we are looking to move back from Houston to So Cal <where the wife and I grew up>. A lot has changed in 20 years, but the weather hasn't.....

Here in Michigan I routinely get love notes "BUY AMERICAN !!!" on my windshield. They caught a guy that keyed 11 American-made Hondas and Toyotas in the parking lot. I am sure "1 percent" or "Unpoor" will get my Pcar all sorts of damages...

I was going with "3 KIDS" on my plate, but decided to just live anonymously.

Where are you going for dinner that you get such notes? I've never gotten one of these before and I also live in MI. I do like the 1prcnt, although I'm no where near the 1 percent.

Well, I never have a problem where I live either, but I have to go to the less-ritzy areas than Birmingham for business...Sterling Heights, Flint...you get the picture. I try to make my stay as short as possible when it's questionable. It tends to be heavy union worker concentrated hang outs that I get these notes. I take the company car whenever I can, but the Saab gets the same love from the unions too, they don't seem to know When the Saab was bought it was still a GM subsidiary! Someday....the global economy will be so flat that nobody will have to shout the Buy American rant anymore.

I try to steer clear of those areas. My beater is a Toyota Celica, it's old, so noone bothers me about it. But you're right, outside Birmingham/Bloomfield, you won't see a single 911. Throw a rock in any direction in downtown Birmingham, good luck NOT hitting a Porsche!
