Installed some new EVO 997S Headers...
#16
I failed to do a baseline dyno so I don't know what my car put down stock. After the headers, cats, GIAC and Fabspeed cold air kit(which I believe did nothing) it made 318 rwhp. That number I'm sure would be higher with a real intake and better flowing muffler.
The sound was a little louder at idle , but not loud enough so I did the PSE mod and disconnected the plug in order to leave the baffles open permanently. The sound now is music to my ears.
I could definitly notice a power difference. Especially better throtlle response.

He is saying the stock 997 "S" headers suck.
He is also saying that that the standard headers are better than the "S" model.
He is holding a pair of Suncoast Motorsports (AKA Evo) headers up to the stock ones. I've got'em. I dyno'd them back to back with stock and picked up a bunch of HP and torque. They are a bit noisier but the quality is very good and the fit is excellent.

i showed a tremendous gain with my suncoast/evo headers (25rwhp max, 10rwhp peak, with a slight dip in the bottom end) from the headers alone. that was a direct back to back test on the same morning with no drive time between.
