Champion Magnesium Wheels?

Champion Magnesium Wheels?
I saw a thread on here recently with a photo of some lightweight Champion wheels supposedly in magnesium, primarily for track use I think.
Anyone have any info. on these, or on Manthey magnesium wheels, for the 997? I want a lightweight set of wheels for my car, and am having trouble finding info. on both of these wheels.
Any suggestions for other lightweight wheels are also welcome. Probably want 18s because of the wider vairety of rubber available, especially for track use.
Sponsors?
Thanks in Advance. - Russ

Russ,
if u want 18'' then there's a reason to go after magnesium wheel since there's more selection but i would not suggest u to run them on daily bases. if u really want light wheel u can get a set of carbon magnesium wheel that Rennworx sells, if there's no budget limit. for 19'', i'd look into Kinesis F110. for the price, the style, the weight, u can't go wrong with it. let me know if u're interested.

Well the Magnesium wheel is NLA. They had 8 sets made for a client, he bought 6 sets of them and the remaining 2 went to a company in Cali. Those wheels went for about 9K for a set. The Kinesis F110's weigh 21 front and 22.5 rear. the RS98's are 18 front and 19.4 rear. The Magnesium wheels were 14.5 and 16 lbs.

jsut do some Fikse's..... mmm so HOT!!! and they won't break like magnesium... i mean if you doo crack from hitting a pithole or something in the road the wheel will not shatter apart (just get a bend) like a magnesium. I know that was a problem alot of cars at Lemans had. when that would happen they sometime would not get back to the pits due to broken wheel..
I know that is not a big concern (breaking), I am just a fikse fan

I actually have a set of Fikse's in 18" for my car, and love the look of them. I just wanted something lighter.
Thanks for all the input and contacts. The Champion magnesiums were a one-off of 8 sets that are now all gone, and the Manthey's in magnesium would require a wheel spacer which adds some weight, although they are still a light setup.
I'm probably either going to go with some Champions not in magnesium, or step up and get the Dymags with some titanium bolts and have really stupid light wheels with an even stupider light wallet when I'm done.
