No CD changer. The player works fine, I believe.

Works with Cayman, Cayenne, 987, 997, all variants.

RoW cars....not yet there. Other products in pipeline/distribution.

Burn your CD's into your iPod....no need for cd changer.

Update 8/15/06

Unit has been modified for a few additional features, and is in testing this week. If all goes well, final release could be as soon as next week. Looks damn good so far. A few minor bugs, as expected, all out of the way at this point.

JCS...

Your snide remarks should not be aimed at me. I'm working my butt off with Dension and letting them know the rep they have with late product, etc. I know folks get frustrated, but better to wait to get it right, then have it and it not be fully functional.

They will not release something that will go out and fail. There were two versions of the beta unit that arrived, as well as one for another make/model. They saw some things on this other unit that made sense to have on the Porsche unit, so they have made some modifications internally so they can then retest it on the Porsche vehicles.

I can only pass along the information I am getting straight from Dension. I'd much rather be on the cautious side, and have units completely test run before release, than have a bunch of failed product out there for the group buy.

That is why we have not even asked for a dime on the group buy yet. Until we have product in hand, we won't ask.

Thanks for the update Eric! I would much rather have something that is fully functional and wait a bit longer then pay for a POS that will frustrate the hell out of me. Not sure what JCS's problem is.
