CRAZY Windows!!!
My windows (actually, just the passenger one) is CRAZY. If it is all the way up, it will sit there and bounce up and down and up and down for infinity. What the crap is that all about? It does this even if it's parked with the key out! So now I have to have the window cracked even if it's raining! Any of you all have any ideas?

happened to mine too the other day (passenger side) opened the door, closed the window all the way then shut the door and it was fine.
hasnt happened since.
I remember with the 996 sometimes you would have to retrain the sunroof when it acted the same way. Usually a result of disconnecting the battery.
Maybe there is a similar procedure for the window.

Okey dokey. Good info. I'll check it out and see. I know that when the tech was reprogramming my ecu after the Supercharger install, he said, "Oh, I can't forget to redo your windows!" I was like... 'huh?'
I'll check it out. Thanks again guys.

next time it goes up and down like that, crank the music up and throw your hands in the air and scream "whoo whoo!"

I walked out in my garage last night because my dog was barking at the door. I opened it up and heard this rhythmic beat. Didn't know wtf was going on. Turned on the lights... you guessed it. CRAZY WINDOWS! No keys in the ignition. Nothin.

After disconnecting the battery or fully discharging it, the window "home" and PSM have to be reset. The PSM is reset by turning the wheel left and right several times then driving a short distance. The window reset is usually done by closing them and then hitting the window close button again.
I needed to do this after my supercharger install and then again recently when I had to replace the battery. Worked both times. Your issue sounds more complicated and like it involves a control unit/network problem. Your installer should be able to figure out if it is a control issue using PIWIS diagnostics. As I understand things, some control unit issues have occured or been surfaced after remapping.
Hope that helps, keep us posted.
