i dunno, i raced my friend's smg competition coupe when he had muffler/headers/intake and easily pulled, i was stock.

but judging from that video of the 25-100 accelleration it looks pretty fast.

 

What did the kid have done to his car? it looked pretty quick, not faster than a stock 997s. i love m3s, but im sorry, an m3 short of FI will never pull on a stock 997s, froma dig or from a roll in any gear. I love how OCswede says on there he doesnt think a stock 997s is fast when a stock m3, which he had at one point, is not nearly as fast as a stock 997s.

 

I believe he has: Pulleys, cat delete, SS race muffler, AA software, ltw battery

 

Why do you guys get so bothered with the Porsche vs M3 debate. Who here has ever sold there 911 so they could buy an M3?

Very good point! And completely correct. Those guys sell their m3, which a lot of them turn into ricers IMO, not all but some the way they mod their cars and buy a car that they love for life.

 

If I could, I would sell my M3 for a 996 GT2 or a 997S but I would never sell my M3 for a 996 Carrera.
