I'm not being a stick in the mud, but the carbon patten looks all wrong. I think 997 carbon is a plain weave, not twill. That's the same patten used on 996's. Lane correct me if I'm wrong.

And on another note, I think MA Carbon (no affiliation) make the best CF parts I've ever seen and the customer service is great too. I've bought a lot of pieces from john and i have no complaints. Not to say that bumperplugs stuff isn't good, becuase I've never done any business with them but MA Carbon is the ****!

You are correct. All 997s use standard carbon, and 996s use twill carbon.

Thanks for the compliments. Hope you and your 996 are doing well. Did you get that leak solved?

Thanks guys! It really doesn't look too bad but if you want cf, macarbon is really the place to go, or bumperplugs. Both have nice pieces.
