Porsche Club Argentina & Ferrari Club Argentina Meeting
Hi everybody, long time no see! I've been moving to my new home and had little to no spare time for internet and stuff... but here I am again!
Well... the title speaks for itself, the P and F Clubs had a meeting last month and we had a really good time. We went from Buenos Aires to Balcarce, home of the former F1 Champion Juan Manuel Fangio, which is about 250 miles from Buenos Aires. We were supposed to do a regularity race but no one really cared at all. It turned into a cheap-kind-of-gumball
At the first two check points everybody was doing OK, most of us were in between the 60 seconds tolerance. But when we got to the third checkpoint we realized we were almost one hour earlier than we were supposed to be, so you can imagine what happened next... speeds of about 180.
We arrive at the Fangio Museum and had lunch, then went to the Balcarce Race Track for autocross competition, I got 2nd place in my category. Also fun! and at night we went to a karting race which i missed for falling asleep!
I raced against my friend's 360 and the 911 surprised me. I pulled away really slowly, but kept pulling away! and to be sure we did it a couple of times.
Hope you enjoy the pictures.
Bests, Federico.
PS: I'll upload the pictures as soon as I can log into my imageshack acount, seems to be down for some reason.
