Microwave sets off my 997 alarm...EVERY TIME

I live in the city and park my 997 directly behind my rowhome - you literally walk in the door and you're in the kitchen. Every time we use the microwave and my car is locked it sets the alarm off! Please tell me this happens to somebody else!

And if it sets off your car alarm, think about what it's doing to you! I think it's time for a new microwave.

does a leaking microwave = cooking you standing next to it when using it?

that would concern me more than setting off your alarm.

Time for a new microwave. I'd ditch that thing after the first time it did it. That's just too freaky.

Definitely time for a new microwave!

Your story reminded me of Randy Quaid in Vacation when he's talking about having a metal plate in his head and every time he uses the microwave he forgets his name and pisses in his pants.

My microwave has done the same thing, though not all the time. Microwave is about 2 1/2 years old.
