What do you guys think of these wheels?
I have been trying to find wheels for my 997s. I found these on the web. They are a cast one piece wheels that looks like a three piece wheel. Cost is $1100 for all 4. Which is cheap I think. Just not sure if they are junk or not. They probably weight alot also. They remind me of the SSR GT3 2 piece wheels.
Just wanted some thoughts from you guys? The pictures are from the shop in maimi that is selling them.

Look like a rip off of some SSRs... do not cut corners here. With wheels you really get what you pay for, look at Volk, Iforged, HRE, Kinesis... wheels really can make or break a cars look.
i always say, wheels are a reflection of the owner

I totally agree with all this. Don't put these on your car. If these wheels aren't totally made perfectly as far as density and weight distribution, it could really screw with your car. Plus, they look really small to me. You'll be able to see the quality issue when they are in front of you. I've been down that road before. So this time I spent $7k on a set of Avus' and am so glad I did. Plus, on a one piece, if you hit a curb, you have to buy a whole new wheel instead of having a lip put on. I've already had to do that with my Avus' because I'm a dumbass on a cell phone.

Similar to the SSR wheels, but it looks like the spokes have way too much curviture to them. They lose their impact with this change, IMHO. I too would be wary of purchasing them for the same reasons everyone specified. 1) They're knock-offs, 2) They're $1100/set, 3) They have no reputation of quality.
For something similar look at iForged or HRE.
Best of luck!

Points of view
Some "excuses" for not buying were offered:
>>I don't think the same R&D and production quality goes into these as does a well known, reputable brand.<<
>>If these wheels aren't totally made perfectly as far as density and weight distribution,<<
>> with that price the quality takes a backseat to cost cutting.<<
Here is a good reason not to buy
There are uglier than ****!
Cheers

I agree with the cheap price issue. That is what makes me wonder about the quality. I am probably going to go SSR GT3, since that is what they look like. I know they are a knock off of that wheel. I just need some opinions to backup what I already believed. Thanks guys

Personally I like one piece wheels so I would'nt opt for a faux 3 piece one. Also, find it hard to believe that someone is casting wheels for this price. I'd be very leary of the quality. Look at the various Champion offerings for light weight, cast wheels that look great. Check their website and the Wheel Enhancement website for lots of pictures. Good luck.
