As one who can not push a clutch pedal due to having a prosthetic leg from just below the hip for my left leg and since I love doing track days....I can not wait for a transmission like this!

I do recall one of the Porsche tech guys stating when asked about DSG that it would be 'about two years'. This was during 997TT testing by one of the mags so perhaps 2008 as a 2009 model.

Le Chef is infamous around these parts
PAG will likely introduce "***** Paddles" (Porsche engineer's words a little while back when talking about PDK so not my words) in MY 09 after the patent for PDK that they sold to VAG expires in 08.

Personally, I like the double-clutch transmissions... If I keep two cars, I'd like one manual and one PDK. (Before it was a 6-speed B7 S4 and a DSG GTI 2.0T)
