Cost of New Tires for 997

Does $2850.00 for 4 new tires installed sound reasonable or do you think I am getting ripped off? Any thoughts would be appreciated.

That seems excessively high. Rear tires shouldn't be much higher than ~$450 (PS2 / P-Zero) and front ~$375, plus installation.

I just had my rears replaced at a local shop with pilot sports, $460 including tax mounted and balanced with a flat repair warranty. Better than tirerack...
$2850 ?? are they at least going to use some vaseline on you, or was that quote dry ?

I think when I have to do mine I would get the contis. I had them on my last car and got 20K miles out of them. I know they are not as stickey but I don't track my car and the contis never gave in. I always gave up before the tires broke loose.
