new file from softronic tune has all systems showing up in perfect ready state and would be good with any 200/100 cell cats and will add up power nicely. i would not do one without the other. either full stock exhaust or 200 cell cats plus ECU flash.

HI
Its Joe at Fabspeed Motorsports.
Fabspeed imports directly from HJS Germany - HJS German 200 CPSI (cells per square inch) tri-metallic deluxe racing catalytic converters. I only use HJS 200 cell OBD2 Euro 5 washcoated sports racing catalytic converters for all of our exhaust system components. HJS makes the worlds best highflow catalytic converters and I have found this out many years ago.
Long ago I utilized 100 cell sports racing catalytic converters from another European supplier. I assumed 100 cells flow significntly better than 200 cell. I was wrong for several reasons #1 often 100 cell catalytic converters have "stiffening rods or control rods) cross drilled at 90 degrees through the 200 cell catalytic converter cores. These control rods therefore greatly inhibit exhaust flow and I have seen up to 6 rods the size of a #2 Pencil installed and welded through a catalytic converter core. Why is this done? So the 100 cell catalytic core matrix doesnt collapse and unspiral and fail.
Trust me a good 200 cell sports racing HJS catalytic converter with NO stiffeneing control rods when sized correctly in terms of O.D. and length will utimately flow as good as a straight pipe if one has the room while keeping the MIL CEL light off.
Fabspeed Motorsports USA is North America's largest HJS Germany Importer of their supre premium expensive 200 cell sports racing catalytic converters. Exotic car enthusiasts SHOULD DEMAND HJS catalytic converters so their cars can pass emissions, run supre hard at race tracks and DE for prolonged periods and NOT have to have a "software fix" to mask CEL light issues. Some of the catalytic converters companies are offering are a complete JOKE and fail immediately and unwound and fail apart and get blown out the tail-pipe. One should not assume that catalytic converters are all the same.
Fabspeed has HJS catalytic converter cores and reducers for any car and or project car application.

I did not answer your question.............for RACING I would run straight pipes and no catalytic converters if at all possible. If it is possible you can run straight pipes and then reinstall catalytic converters for the street and or emissions purposes. If you remove all factory catalytic converters and or aftermarket catalytic converters the car will often get much louder.

with straight pipes it is all the same. i would run x51 headers, OEM is better.
check your local tracks for sound restrictions, it is the only practical limit for a race car. i suspect no mufflers and with cat bypass pipes you may get quite above 105dB, not sure, ask Joe privately.
