Orange Rims

My new set of rims just came in and I was relegating the stock ones to track/storage. I figured since I wasn't going to use them that often, I would paint them black (or something different).

So I decided to go to the bodyshop and paint them black .. then while I was there, i saw a magazine about the RS. Since these rims wouldn't be on my car anymore .. and the paint is reversible .. what the hell, lets paint em orange. Black was boring and I already had a silver set sitting at home.

Some of my friends thinks it looks great .. others just laugh uncontrollably.

I personally like them, they look great as my second set of rims (for the track), I wouldn't have done it if I didn't have the aftermarket rims. FWIW, the picture do not do them justice..

I didn't think about the side markers .. I might be the only person on this forum to switch from clear to orange. Although these will be back in storage in a week.

I am thinking about adding the stripe on the sides for track day..

I really liked them too, much better than black especially for a second set of rims.

I usually don't like how these wheels look but painting them Orange, really made them look fantastic. Which Aftermarket Wheels did you get?

Those would go well with a nice KITT light in your front grill.

Uhm...I'm not so sure if I like them or not...but I'm quite positive.
I'd have probably painted them black and added an orange stripe all around the wheel

i think they look awesome. it really stands out and as you said it's reversible. it's not like you painted them pink or something. BOLD is good within certain measure and I think it kinda looks KEWL.
