Tip or Manual, and what's your age

28. bought Tip because of daily driving in terrible metropol. Coming from SMG M3, can you say I hate the transmission on my car.
This is one of the reasons I may not own a Porsche again. What a waste.

Hey DrJay2, I too am a radiologist.

997s - stick
boxster - tip
caymanS - stick (on order)
although a tip is nice when you have cup of coffee in your hand, my next p cars will likely be manual; for me, the tip feels too disconnected from the driving experience

I drive a Tiptronic...track days too! I lost my entire left leg 4 years ago while riding my motorcycle (998S Ducati) when a mini-van took a left turn into me. I have no leg to push the clutch with although I wear a prosthetic.
I am 41 years old and work in the music industry, drums and percussion. My 2001 Boxter S with a stick and the 4 Vettes I woned were all stick.
However I am enjoying the Tip. I got to drive a Maserati last month with the Ferrari F1 tranny and a BMW M5 with their clutchless manual. WOW I can't wait till Porsche does something like this.
