We don't need no stinkin Batches!!!

This is probably the most recognizeable car in the world besides a Model T.

Badges? Yuch.

Carrera? Carrera S? GT2? GT3?

What for? There are so many other ways to identify these cars from each other - in fact, I didn't have a badge put on bc I didn't want to be mistaken for merely an S when I have the X51 package.... no exterior sign of that extra power....

Maybe if it was for a totally unique limited edition - but really, badges are silly. They look really good on Mercedes though....

I do think the back looks kind of empty without a badge, but that's just me.

A week or two ago I saw a 350Z with a Porsche "turbo" badge on the back. I gave the are-you-kidding-me face.

I don't need a badge to know what I'm driving.

So most of the guys on the Autobahn, Autostrada, etc. that order their Porsches, BMWs, Benzes, etc. from the factory without badges (and those of us in the USA that do) are wannabe's? Aren't we driving the real deal? Now I could see somebody putting an M3 badge on a Honda - that's a wannabe...

We aren't talking about buying an aftermarket badge, we are talking about Factory Option 498 Delete Model Designation.

Porsche should make the badge optional to put on, not to remove!
