I do not know the answer, but I ordered the turbo look wheels for my 997s, so there is a size that fits, not sure if it is the same wheel, but it looks the same

Does this mean they will be plug and play if I buy the stock wheels / tires from a 997 turbo owner?

found this info online...

997 Turbo wheels :

Front: 19 x 8.5... 56mm offset
Rear:19 x 11... 51mm offset

997S wheels:

Front: 19 x 8... 57 mm front offset
Rear: 19 x 11... 67 mm rear offset

Does anybody know if this will cause handling problems (esp on track) and if the wheels will even fit w/o spacers?

TIA

No plug and play - the wheels off a TT are for a widebody, you have a narrow body. Spacers work when putting narrow body wheels on widebodies not the other way around.

so these wheels won't work at all on a 997s?

The fronts shouldn't be a problem. The rears will extend 16mm further out than your stock wheels plus another 5mm for the increased tire width. Not sure how it will look but more importantly how it will affect performance. Call the guys at Wheel Enhancement and ask - they do this for a living.

I ordered my 997s with the 19" turbo wheels without spacers. I'm not sure if they are "turbo look" or are the same size as on the tt. However they seem to be fine and I love the look.

You are right! I don't see too many 997TT owner have those wheel on.
I take our lobster wheel over TT wheels anytime.

I agree. I think, however, how they look depends on the color of the car. They look great on Silver or black (I ordered GT silver) but may not look as good on other colors

I don't know a thing about the spacers, but on a black widebody (my 997 C4S), they look good and hot!! IMO.
