@jrloM3 - thanks for the kind words...what is CPL? The light sources started to to star burst when the exposures got really long (20+secs).

Well that's about the only time anyone will see a Porsche at Cherry Beach. Love the shots in the Distillery District! Something so fitting about that backdrop. We'll have some light flurries this weekend. Maybe you can work those into a picture too.

Amazing Pictures, Thank you for sharing!

I wish I knew how to take pictures that great, I think what you need next are H&R lowering springs.

I'd rather work my summer rubber into the pics

I agree about the springs. In regards to the photos, taking ones like these are easy: a DSLR, a tripod for long exposures, a good location and a lot of trial and error. To get truly great photos like the stuff I've seen from Felix takes talent, years of practice (and occasionally a little bit of luck - though probably not often in his case). His stuff is always incredible.

CPL = circular polarizer. it's a type of filter, excellent for shooting highly reflective surfaces like water, cars, etc. i stack a uv and cpl on my lenses and get the starburst effect at night. but based on your comments, maybe i'm getting the starbursting from the long exposures. LOL... hmm... time to experiment.
