Japanese Transmission

I believe the manual transmission is made by Aisin (Japan)
The tip-tronic is made in Germany( I think by Mercedes )
Actually, most parts of the car are outsourced .
Porsche also does not tan leather or cast engine blocks, or make A/C compressors, radiators, body panels, rubber bumpers ,plastic castings, windshields, electrical wires, printed circuits, radios, CD and DVD players, Nav. systems , light bulbs ,batteries, gas tanks, mufflers, exhaust pipes, nuts and bolts, gaskets ,hoses , tires, wheels.......
and neither do most other car manufacturers.
They DO however specify the equipment and put it all together (and they do it very well) Lol
