Awesome time!
For those that never intend bringing your car to the track you've got to try it at least once, the only problem is you might get addicted...

Actually the last turn before the main straightaway is the most dangerous... if you understeer coming out of that corner and your car gets traction and hooks at the last second you could be facing a wall.
But if you are understeering in that corner just straighten out and slide into the grass or scrub brush depending on what time of year I'm sure you'll get the lecture before you start doing laps

Wow, I love those action shots!
I've not yet tracked my car but I've only had it a couple months now. For those of you who know all about tracking cars, where can I look to find a good track within a days drive of me? I've tried google searches, but can't seem to find anything more than an oval track that doesn't look that exciting. Are there tracks with nice curves and gentle hills that somewhat mimic a real road? Do most trackes allow you to just show up and pay a fee to start driving? I really don't want to race. I'd rather just drive. I can tell already that I'm going to need someplace to give the car some real exercise or I'll soon end up with my license revoked. Any help would be appreciated!

^ you can check out http://www.hookedondriving.com/home.cfm and see if they have events in your area. also, check with your local dealer. that's how i found out about Hooked On Driving. my dealer sponsors driving events at some of the local tracks. heck, when i took delivery of my car, the fleet mgr gave me a Hooked On Driving DVD and says, "hope to see you at the next event!"
