HA! I actually saw the guy who owns this and he said it was custom color - but I think he misheard me and thought I said "custom order"
yeah, he picked that top color - and the interior is the same.... I have the opposite - silver ext blue interior - think its a bit more pleasing on the eyes...
I agree, I think its cobalt as well...

It used to be a Special order paint job on the 997 by 05-06 and now its with the metallic offerings. Whilst the Special's from the brochure are GT Silver, Slate Grey and to other green colours.
Custom order is colour paint to sample metallic or non-metallic which is an extra cost paint job done per customer request, just provide them with the paint code and they will do it. However custom order Exterior and Interior takes around 8 months extra on top of the build of a std 997 variants.
