Help: Chronometer Clock

If I purchase the dash mounted chronometer / stopwatch, would I be able to just install the stopwatch on the dash board? or do I need connect with the computer? do I need to have sport or chrono package to utilize the stopwatch? is it easy to install?

I suppose you could find the parts and install the chronometer.

Not sure how you'd activate it though, as the on board computer is used to start/stop and reset.

It is also integrated into the PCM module, so you may be biting off quite a bit.

not sure if i understand the question completely but if u're talking about retrofitting the chrono package then i'm not aware it can be done.

You use a seperate stalk on the steering colum to operate the sport chrono. retrofitting would probably be impossible or too much $$$ to install as you would need a bew steering colum and computer among many many other parts. If you just want a stop watch I'd suggest going to a race shop and get one of the models you attach to the steering wheel to time yourself.

I have the sport chrono package but i never used the stopwatch ever since i own the car. I think it is the most useless option.

This is a switch - people are usually asking how to get rid of the wart on the dash...

I have difficulty using the bar graph to show lap times and hitting the stalk while piloting the car, the sport feature is great with remapping and the PASM sport mode.

thank you. Decide not to get the chrono clock. it seems impossible to retrofit.
