[quote=colonel]Yesterday, I was travelling south bound on I380 in PA and a deer (100+lb) jumped in front of me. It was dancing on the highway, as it couldn't decide to go across or go back. The deer hit the left fender, bumper, left light, hood, smashed the windsheid completely and flew off the roof. Luckily, it did not go thru the windshield, or I would be dead. Still a bit shaken.

Any good body shop in North NJ/NYC. I heard roof damage is hard to fix.

call Ron "vipertestarossa" 973-429-9687 http://www.foresthillexoticperformance.com/home.htm
They are the best shop around.

How far you from Exit 105? I know that Bodymotion is definatly worth it. Perhaps a phone call to them explaining your distance problem, and let them know you will need a rental. Perhaps they can hook you up with a local rental while your car is being repaired. I know this place personally and can vouch for their workmanship, honesty, and knowledge or Porsche's. It's at least worth a phone call to investigate your options.

Glad to see you're fine.... It's just a car, always replaceable.

Also, remember many times good things comes with the bad.

Could you have stopped in time if you had stood on your brakes? That is what I did a few weeks ago, but I was only doing 30 mph or so.

I would think if you turned your lights off for a second, then the dear could see again(they can see good at night) and run in the right direction. but its not like you have lots of time. it justs happens mike

C&D Body shop

I have heard awesome things about C&D (http://www.cd-autobody.com/). Ask for Matt. Check out the projects section of the webpage. They do lots of high end cars. I used Rojo 2x, but had to go back twice to have stuff redone. Repainting is never perfect, but some jobs are way better than others.
