997 S or 550 Maranello - Pics inside
Hey guys-
here are some pics of my car an 06 997S
Full Terracota
PSE
GT3 RS front bumper
tons of other stuff....
Do you think I am crazy for thinking about trading it for a Maranello?
I always wanted a ferrari but I think deep down I am a porsche guy. I have a cayenne S, 996 C4 Cab, 356 speedster also. But recently got a Quatroportte and it gave me the italian "bug".
I went to a dealer to have the Maserati serviced and test drove a 550. Now everytime I get into the 997 I am depressed. I cant believe I feel this way -
I either need a different perspective or I gotta get the 550
Thoughts please

If anyone can help posting the pics inside the thread I would greatly appreciate it
Thanks

"Now everytime I get into the 997 I am depressed"
I wouldn't do it personally, but that ^^ is enough reason why you should. Life is too short...! The 997 is a stunner though.

Thanks for posting the pics, I really need to figure out how to make it happen
You guys are all on the Mark -
There is nothing like a V12 ferrari
But I was hoping someone could convince me to keep the 911
I feel as if I commitied heresy just by taking a test drive in the 550

well if it is a once in a life time thing, go ahead and get the ferrari!! i will if i can throw away that extra cash for a car! But as of now, i still love the Pcars more. You can't really compare pcars with the fcars/lambos, they are all different animals. Fcars are more performance based cars and you will not feel comfortable driving it 365 days a year. However, the Pcars will give you the sporty feel while maintaining the comfortable ride.
If i had to choose between the 2 from a fresh start, i will pick the 911. but since you own so many porsche already, why not give the Italian Horse a try? :P

+1 You can always get another 997S - and it sounds like you can afford the maintenance on an F car.

as MANY have said..."you have an affair with an Italian but marry a German."
You may need to get the 550 just to realize the porsche you are driving is really one of the best cars in the world!

do it. A man has to explore his boundaries of preference. Think of it as sowing you petrol oats. Give it your best and if it doesnt fit move on. Some times the grass is not greener. Sometimes it is.
