Hello everyone, First and foremost, I wanted to say that i am very happy to be part of this group, and am very excited to own my first 911..

Now for the question..

I have been told that my 08' 997 is on a ship, the dealer doesnt know yet what the ships name is, or when it comes into Baltimore (thats the one that i was told my 997 is on), i was curious to know if anyone might know the upcoming ship's schedules, and also when the 08's might start leaving the port's and arriving in the dealerships?

May I ask how much you paid for your 08?
My friend is in a similar position, he's going to test drive one next month. So any advice on discount would be greatly appreciated.

 

Yours will be one of the first 08's I would think. So far they have not even "officially" released the 08's by providing an 08 sales booklet, or data on the website.

Next ship due into Baltimore is 7/27.

 

Bonn997.. my discount was about 5.5% off of msrp, and for me this was a hard discount to get, most dealers wanted MSRP or 1% off of MSRP.

Eric, thanks for the update.. i am not sure if my wheels are on that boat, i am sure they are on some boat.. lol.. do you know when the next one heads into Baltimore after the 27th? or possibly how long the journey is from Germany to Baltimore?
