White color maintenance
#2
I have owned a lot of white car and they do not show swirls like dark colored cars do. To me a dirty car is dirty no matter the color and I can see dirt on any color. White, yellow and so forth will show road tar that the wheels pick up but that can be washed off every car wash easily....especially if you use RejeX around these areas. I currently have black and my next Carrera will be either White, yellow or possibly red.

All cars get those artifacts (ie. dirt/scratches/etc) but white shows them the least due to it's reflectivity. I don't have a white PCar but my wifey has a white Lexus that 'appears' to be clean and flawless to the causal eye even when it's really not.
My black 997S requires a vigilant approach to keeping it looking good. I'm tend to be sort of **** and don't like driving a 'dirty looking' car.
White 997's look great especially against a contrasting interior. I wouldn't hesitate buying a white 997 if given a choice.
Good Luck!

I have owned a few black cars. The swirl marks would just drive me crazy, plus it's next to impossible to keep looking clean.
I had owned one white car, but that was many years, so I don't remember how hard was maitenance.
Thanks.

i have a white 07 c4s. it shows dirt as bad as any other IMO, but swirls and streaks are hard to spot. I wash mine every week, and with the ceramic brakes there is little too and cleanup there. Rejex is 'da bomb' to use around those areas

I think white is a great color cause quite often makes the car look clean...oh well since you do not go that close to it. Anyway I'd have an hard decision between white and black which are very different colors.

White shows dirt easily.
I've owned white, black, red, silver and now meteor...meteor looks amazingly clean when dirty and gorgeous when clean.

I saw a white GT3 near Lincoln St in Boston this morning. Needless to say it was simply perfect, stunning. Probably owned by some Fidelity portfolio manager. Surely someone on this board at least.
Highly recommended purchase!

I have two white ones in the stable, and the wife loves white, but it's a real pain to keep the lower rockers in pristine clean condition. On my Guards Red C4S, it's easier. On silver, it's easier. On Blue, it's easier.
Every piece of crud that flings up from the road hits those lower rockers. It sucks. The white cars in the garage are the toughest to keep clean.
That said, they do not show much in the swirl department (I use Rejex and keep them clean and wash them the right way). And when they are detailed, white can be a stunning look.
