Can Anyone Answer This Question?

I am looking to by a new 911 but am not a big stick fan (currently have SL55) but feel Iwill lose too much if I get a tiptronic.

So the question is what is faster (0-60) a 911Carrera S in stick or tiptronic with the $16500 power kit?????

Thanks much!

Jeff

Tip with powerkit. Tiptronic isn't my cup of tea but I've driven the 997 with it, and it is not that bad.

I have the tip with the EVO SC and its fast as hell. That being said, my next 911 will be stick.

Is 0-60 something that's pretty important?.....and you'd get a tip and add power just to do that?

Well, just a thought but....there's lots of cars better (at that) than Porsche.....ie go fast in a straight line.

Put a Kleeman K2 on your SL55. It will open up a whole new experience for you.
I'm not to crazy about the tiny shift buttons that Porsche puts on the steering wheel either. Stick all the way for me.
