For 16 grand, you can (and I do) have a supercharger, intake, headers, exhaust, and add about 170 horsepower to your car with a low boost (4.5lbs) system, which is a difference you can feel! Totally transforms the car.
Of course you can't have an emotional attachment to your warranty . . .
