To Tall for a 911?

Go try the 997 again with different seat combos.
also, in the 996 turbo there is a center console (partial) delete kit that some cars had when I was shopping for those. basically the middle part ends just around the stereo or so and then there's an acutal gap between there and the floor of the car. 996's with this option might be an appealing alternative for you if you can find one.
Most importantly though, as someone 6-4 myself, I just got used to my leg there. It's the same in my M3. Honestly the only fast car that I'm completely comfortable in is the e60 M5 but that's arguably not a sports car.
Sorry, Porsche is as good as it gets for sports cars that can accommodate tall people such as ourselves.

on my 996 i did the GT3 console delete kit. its pure heaven. i have pretty fat legs and i now have all the room in the world. when i sit in 997, i notice the leg hitting center console right away. its very annoying. i wish 997 had center console delete option ala 996.

I am 6'-3", with a 36" inseam. My 997S has the adaptive sport seats. I have to put the seat all the way back for comfortable leg room. I have the same problem others have described, in that my right leg is up against the center console. With a size 13 shoe, I can't keep my foot upright on the pedals and there just isn't room to heel & toe.
The seating position is comfortable, however, and I have driven up to 600 miles in a day.
A larger footbox, adjustable pedals & more seat travel would be welcome extras. Add more extra cost options to the lengthy list.
