Can a C2S be ordered with X51 without PSE to avoid the extra cost. I can make changes to my car until Oct 30 for Dec delivery. If I am not gonna do a Supercharger right away, I think X51 is the way to go, without PSE. I think for power 200 Cell Cats and bypass muffler pipes will be the way to go. Input appreciated, thanks Carl

The X51 package from the initial order will include the PSE, if you don't want it it will have to be retrofitted by the dealer. You can't pick and choose with te facotry option, from my understanding.

I am planning on running the muffler bypass pipes with my 200cpi AWE cats and X51 headers...see if I can take it.

If you want it, just order it from the factory. FAR less hassle. Plus, PSE is sweet.

X51 can be added by a dealer shop, but it's a big undertaking. I was quoted $22,000 for my 2006 C2S, which is about $6000 more than factory. I guess it's the labor component in dropping and tearing down the engine, and so on.

Go factory. Wish I had got X51, too.

What dealer was that? WOW! I had mine retrofitted and it cost me LESS than if I had ordered it from the factory. Go to another dealer instead!

It cost me about $13000. I get a nice discount at my local dealer since I've bought parts from them for years.

I added the the x51 airbox and have the plenum and tbody just sitting around, all I need to get are the intake manifolds.
Will the engine need to be droped in order for those parts to be installed? (intake manifolds) how much should a shop charge for that.
