Question about ceramic brakes when they are wet

Well, When its raining I feel that I loose my braking. The pedal seems really firm but the braking power feels that it diminishes. I feel that they loose their grabby nature and I am second guessing the braking of the car. It sort of worries me.
I dont know exactly how to explain this to the dealer besides how I just explained it above. I would guess this is not normal orperation of ceramic brakes but I dont know. Have any of you fellas experienced this problem. Over here in Florida, rain is a common occurence and I would like to have the issue fixed if there really is one..

Thanks in advance....

I have noticed a difference in the feel at the brake pedal in rain but no loss of effectiveness they still stop better than any other brake I have experienced in a car.

If i remember correctly, there is a car which senses when the brakes are wet and lightly applies the brakes to create friction and dry them. Perhaps you could try the same by applying the brakes lightly.

You may feel the tires losing traction, if the brake pedal feels the same. Is it slow speed, high speed, is the ABS coming on ? Mine feel great rain or shine.

No, I have pedal pressure, almost too much pressure as if you had pumped them a few times to get the feel up, but there feels like there is no braking. ALmost as if you cannot push it down to clamp the caliper. Its sort of worring and today when I drop the car off i will ask them about it, but how will they replace the scenario?

Wizo,

You're wise to take it to the dealer and having the brakes inspected. We had our first rain of the season just in time for the Sharkwerks/Carlsen Porsche gathering this past Saturday. My ceramics didn't give any hint of reduced braking.
