FS: EVOMS Intake for 997S

I have a customer that purchased this intake from us and never had it installed. He said he would install the intake himself, took it home and never installed it. Now he brought it back and wants to sell it. The box has been opened but it is complete and it has never been used.

He wants $549 shipped to anywhere in the US.

I have attached the stock photo:

From what I saw on Evo website, they have 2 different part numbers for S and non-S

That's true. I called them up and they said the "S" version had an extra part (cannot remember exactly what) that had something to do with the resonater on the "S". You don't need this part on the base model. They give you one set of instructions with the "S" and "non-S" description. They are the same kit. I purchased my kit used from a "S" owner and installed it no problems.

so the S kit will work on the non S, but the non S kit will not work on the S unless you get the missing part?

I have installed a couple EVOms intakes .. they usually come with all the parts (regardless of s/non-s); the extra part is a rubber hose and some zip ties to block off the pipe that would go to the Helmholtz resonator in the stock 997s intake.

You can download the install instruction from the EVO website .. you skip a couple steps for the non-s.

The 2005 911 and 911S have one extra piece ( more or less like a block off vavle) with a zip tie. All of the EVO intakes that ive seen come with the complete kid ( ie) if you have a 2006-2007 then you have an extra piece. The deal that ABSOLUTE is providing is very competitive and would certainly recommend the intake. I've been running it for over 5,000 miles and i think its sick..

Great increase in throttle response and also the acoustics at top end are amazing.

=)

Increase in hp? I'm not too sure about that but the sound from the engine is intoxicating!
