I'm still failing to see the advantage of laying down the shocks like that.. Lots of pivots to wear, doesn't lower the CG any measurable amount? Seems like a DSE quadra-link would be a nice adjustable setup. And the Lateral Dynamics 3 link is AWESOME! They have some seriously genius engineers there.
Bonus points for the watts link though

TCP suspension is by far the best you can buy for these cars...unless you want to go with a Mustang II front end. I know that Unique's version of TCP, has had several issues, hopefully you haven't had any of those problems.
Again, beautiful car.

I love your car and the whole Eleanor concept. My '68 GT500 was original, but far from stock. I just can't stand Unique Performance. With me living in Dallas, I hear ALOT of the negative things regarding Unique and I'm very close to the shop that has had to fix ALOT of their cars...especially the blower cars.

That rear suspension is MONEY!!!!!
Usually when you run an inboard/rocker arm type set up you would use 7075 Aluminum, Grade 8 Bolts, and High Precision bearings designed to handle that type of sideload.
The advantages of an inboard setup is having the ability to maximize the responsiveness of your shocks by spreading the travel over the right amount based on the rocker ratio. You also have more control over your camber under loads. It's all in the design though, there's only so much that can be tuned. Vicious is right, in this application it's not about lowering the CG (although every little bit helps ). I bet the rear end on this car feels rock solid though with everything linked to the rear tubular subframe...

Hey Nick, long time no see. Havne't seen ya around Santana Row the last few weekends. Last we talked, your new 'be-cool' solved all your issues.
I finally replaced my cracked windshield on the Cobra. And solved a nagging ignition problem (self inflicted I might add.) That'll teach me to shove my hand up the back of the dash. I've been hammering on the motor since last week to be sure it solved my problem; also retuned my carburator (a first.) Hit the rev limiter, hit 115mph, ... no hiccups, smooth off-idle transition on my Demon carb. Thing is actually more fun than the beginning of the summer.
Hope to see around but this weekend we might be doing a cruise starting at Alices at 8:00AM (if you're interested.)
