2008 Ford Mustang Bullitt

The interior is nice. Can't say I care for the exterior much. Looks to bland and they didn't really try and customize it in anyway to make it stand out from the rest. Maybe I'm used to seeing the Saleens, huh?

couple things about the new bullitt. ford had at least one 5.4 iron block n/a motor in thier mules. it pushed hard in the corners because of the extra weight. ford did not want to build the bullitt into a 1320 only car. to me this is very believable because the mustang is already too heavy and out of balance with the 4.6 al block motor.
ford got the price right. 31k is the exact same price as a mustang gt with a few options. with the bullitt you get similar options with same price and improved performance. 0-60 is .3 faster than a mustang gt. cornering and handling is better. word is this new bullitt is out lapping the shelby gt. the shelby gt cost 8k more than the bullitt.
review - performance on par or better than the shelby gt for 8k less. better performance than the mustang gt at the same price. there is not one ford label on the ext of this car, hot rod clean as some would say.
for less than a g37 this bullitt will compete on the street and on the track with this type of car!

I thnk the car appeals to those that remember the classic 67 Mustang in the movie. For those that don't like a lot of chrome or are into the "debadged" look, this is probably the car for them.
But I tend to agree it's somewhat boring on the outside. I'd rather go with the GT500KR or SuperSnake but that involves Carroll Shelby and that's just more money. Strickly from Ford, I'd love to do a BOSS 302 looking Mustang instead. That was around the time the Mustangs were bloated (70's) so this boat would be right at home in size.
