First ZR1 SOLD

However you guys fail to see the bigger picture here. Besides the fact that he is a collector and will keep this car for a very very long time. Also for hard core collectors, a mint condition, matching numbers #001 first in a series ZR1 will be worth that and more 30 years down the road.

Agreed. It goes to charity.

i doubt it will retain that much of a high value

You should just wait a few years and low mileage ZR1's will be sold for $60K.
I am looking at a 2006 Z06 for an ask price of $49K (he paid MSRP+ and will lose $22K+). It has 3,000 miles on it.

Insane... It will be a bargain at 70k IMO, I just don't like the car, rather have an 08 Z06!
