Wheels are pretty bad...

 

Ok, I gonna be in the minority here. It will probably look ok up close .

 

I don't like the wheels...

 

i've yet to really see a vette wheel I like though.....sans the 01-04 Z06 wheel

My problem is that chevy has a special model for the rental car market. No other high line car company does that.

 

Shelby Hertz? I rented one from Orlando and took it down to Sebring, it was decent except the top is a POS. I would rent a Vette just to try it, sure beats the Solara I got last time...

 

That's what I was thinking. I dislike the yellow gap in the black stripe the most. They should have taken the stripe down into the engine bay a little more so you couldn't see that yellow. I think that looks even more tacky than the wheels.

The local rental office near me has one on display...I really wanted to rent it just to drive a Z for a day but it's so hiddeous looking I decided to pass.

BTW, just ran into my first ZhZ on PCH today. The guy took a turn trying to get the *** end out and failed miserably. Sure enough we pull up side by side at a stop light when he starts to rev on me. Both of us have our windows down when I say "nice rental car"....the girl in the passenger seat giggled. I felt like I was in a movie.

 

Just curious, if you could have the car for a day at no expense to you, no liability, nothing what would you do?
