I dont know why there is a Roadster option,because the LS3 Convertable is super fast handles great like the coupe and not much less powerfull then the Z06. And i know there are many tuned Corvetible's that are running more the 600bhp,Bob Scheid's daily driver is 1100bhp LS3 Z51 Convertable. Also the Callaway C16 Cabriolet is pretty much a Z06 but with some mods. I think a Targa Z06 shouldn't really affect the handling of the ZO6 and you still get that level of safety lol.

Anyways,Gennadi Design do one hot ZO6 Roadster with 700BHP,the chassis,suspension and some other stuff have been re-engineered,stiffened etc. According to them these mods make their Z06 Roadster performing/handling better car then the base Z06 coupe. Personally i would be surprise if it did,just look at what Gennadi did with the Ford GTX1.

 

Been asking if they would do this for some time, I love the Z06 but I cannot stand the fact that it is not a convertible, I simply don't fit comfortably.

Been going over in my head of just dealing with the tight space and jumping in or buying a gently used C6 convertible and just putting a blower and the rear/front fenders on it off the Z.
