How far would you have to travel to run it at an open 'track day' at a road course?

Well Infineon is 30 minutes from me and Thunder Hill is about 2 hrs north so there are some good options.

Well, Shark, thought I would let you know we are gonna take care of that loud external A1000... getting rid of it and going with a stainless aftermarket tank now with internal pump - either Walbro or Bosch.

Try looking into the Ricks hotrod tank.
Im running it...
It has the a1000 pumps internally... which quiets the sound.
You do nee to run the vent tube up.... and if your using a bypass regulator... run it directly off the tank instead of the engine bay.... to keep the fuel nice and cool.

Yep, Rick's is what I will be going with. Most of the builders I talk to prefer it. There have been many documented failures of the A1000 pump so that is why I am switching to the Walbro or Bosch.
