This is of course for street driven cars, the taller tire is better for the track. It will absorb some of the energy from the launch and be a little less harsh on the drivetrain. So many factors, gear ratio, rpm in 4th gear and many others.
I'm only interested in performance on the track, not the street.

So would you say combine the two? I could probably get a custom rim built and run the MT 295/45/17
