The World Wide Debut of PLUM MAD
Ok guys, for my first thread in the American Muscle forum, I decided i would post the debut of my PLUM MAD my father's 55 Chevy Nomad.
We debuted the car in March in Detroit at the 2009 Autorama. The actual build itself took about a year and came down to the wire. The car was finished Tuesday 2pm and by 2:45 it was in the trailer headed for detroit where it arrived Thursday morning.
Notables include:
Art Morrison GT Chassis
Nick Arias Jr. Injected Big Block Chevy Hemi
10-71 BDS Blower
Custom 700 R4 Tranny
Interior by Ron Mangus (the man!)
(lets see who can guess what the front and rear seats came out of)
Wilwood Disc Brakes
and my favorite ( Keyless Go/ Push button start)
and now

It MAY make a pass or two down the strip one day. For the immediate future though it will travel the show circuit then down the line become a driver. The car was built with the ultimate goal of it being driven in mind
