Anyone here speak ricer?
Last weekend I had the Z at a local car hang out. There was a large group of people standing around my car when a couple of guys in a loud S2000 drive by and yell; "NICE CAMARO!" to the group and then start laughing.
It's pretty obvious they were being sarcastic, but I don't speak ricer so I'm not exactly sure what their point was. Can anyone here help translate?

LOL...thanks.
Just so you know, I consider people "ricers" only when they act a certain way with regard to cars. It has absolutely nothing to do with their ethnicity (my wife is actually half-asian).

I was not trying to insinuate that you were referring to race. When you use the term...I know EXACTLY the types of people you are referring to.

S2000's are really a sports car.
I've driven both. The S2000 is just a gas. The Miata wastes it.

I drove a buddies S2000. I think it had 20 ft. lbs. of torque....

Compared to the Z06 (I had an 02 C5Z), yep, not a lot of launch till you get it up to 7K. The S2000 is a much more involving car to drive though. I use mine all the time and I live in Hill Country. It makes you a better driver because it's so easy to get behind on inputs on a powerful car.

But, it does have an awesome shifter. No doubt about that.
