2010 Corvette GS
Rafferty also announced pricing of the all-new 2010 Corvette Grand Sport. Pricing for the Grand Sport coupe is $55,720 and GS convertible is $59,530. Both prices include a $950 destination freight charge.
"The Corvette Grand Sport achieves a 0 - 60 time in less than four seconds, pulls 1.0g on the skid pad and still boasts an impressive 26 highway mpg," Rafferty said. "These numbers are unmatched by any of Corvette's competitors."

Not bad. The stingray gills, Z06 rear brake duct. Is this using the Z06 body? Cant get the stupid link to open. It almost looks like it but not as wide. maybe its my eyes. I love it. GM has a hit on its hands. Would be nice if it came with the LS7 so it can compete with the Viper vert.

SAme rear fenders and front end.. Only difference is the front fenders are not carbon fiber, they are fiberglass.. Same body flaring and same size wheels and tires and same brakes.. Look like a Z06 with the standard targa style roof.. Great option! So tempted to buy one of these.. Just have too much money in my car already..

Wont be too long before someone shoehorns an LS7 or LS9 in one of these once they become available. Really wish it came with the LS7 to really compete with the SRT10. Nothing the aftermarket couldnt fix however. I remember a guy from back a year or two with a yellow vert he converted to look like Z06 vert. Finally GM took the hint.

No need for an LS7/9. You can make high 500 rear wheel with the right parts N/A. Maybe throw a 125 shot on top of it just in case you need a little extra help.
Whats the weight on this car, anyone know? I assume steel frame rather than aluminum. Still lighter than a Viper though.

I agree with keeping the LS3, much more of a mod-friendly engine than the LS7. After all, the LS9 is an LS3 that has been upgraded. Far too many LS2/3's out running around just walking away from modded LS7's. I would seriously consider selling my car now, and saving up the cash to get one of these in a couple of years, I'm just not sure I can only drive what I would have to drive in order to save that kind of cash. Unless someone wants to buy my car for $40k?
