Congrats to team Corvette 09 Le mans Champs
After whooping *** everywhere else,....they've finally done it. The C6R Corvette wins Lemans.

LOL...Yeah the C6R have won the past few years. The GT1 class sucks anyway. No real competition since the snakes, Ferrari and Saleen left. Come to think of it only the Oreca Vipers actually had anything for Team Corvette to worry about. None of the other marques had the durability and/or the speed to test the C5R/C6R's......Aston did it once but its been Corvette reign since 2000 for the most part. Quite an accomplishment in Europes back yard lol. They have run out of shelf space for those trophies. It will be sad to see them go but it will give the other teams a chance now lol. I heard this is the last race for the Vette Team at Le Mans.

Yeah this year wasn't an exciting one for GT1 to say the least. They had NO competition LOL!
Next year in GT2 will be awesome.

...Thats not fair...........For Porsche and Ferrari I wish they would stay in the higher class of GT1 but as long as they are in Le Mans Im happy....Cant wait for next year....

You're right, the trophy room is getting kind of full.
All of the window spots on the left are full so they started lining them up on the floor. That window wraps around 180 degrees behind where this photo was taken. Every spot has a trophy.

^^LOL and I thought I was exaggerating a bit. Really incredible accomplishment from Jake and the boys. Whats the official reason why they decided to go to the lesser class? No competition in GT1? Economy so GT2 might be cheaper? Heard Porsches taste like chicken and Ferrari's like beef?

Ahh. Team Corvette has to be the odds on favorite next year. Porsche and Ferrari have alot to be worried about. I think they will pick up where they left off in GT1. Shame they couldnt do both and dominate. Id bet if the economy wasnt the way it is they might have considered it.
