He mentioned in the other thread that he hit a bump which caused the smashup. He also indicated the same thing happened to a Murci on the bump too. Hit the right bump in any car going at a good clip and anything can happen.

It's like repairing a Ferrari ( I have done both). Carbon Fiber inners and fiberglass parts alone will put you around the 15,000-20k level without painting it yet. And parts are not ready avaiable at the dealer for this limited produced car. 25,000 Vipers made since 1992. Now 24,999 made and still running

I meant to add that this accident was a great (although UNINTENTIONAL) testament to the strength of our wheels.
All 4 wheels were 100% intact after the accident, and the salvage yard that bought the car called 2 days ago......the wheels are still holding AIR!!
Now THAT'S durability!
