2011 GT, Hard to beat

Is anyone else having a hard time comparing this car to others? I mean really when you see what power its making, how extremely well it handles, how far the interior has come, and the fact that it has arguably the best in car electronics, Ford SYNC, what else comes close for the price? I don't think anything new, or even any of the very good priced used sports cars, put up much of a fight. Anyone else?

And you should know this is coming from someone who is a hardcore 996 Turbo fan, and someone who's owned 3 mustangs and vowed not to own another one.

They are amazing, but still a pony car. The new motor will spawn so many sick power-plants configurations from Ford and their affiliates.

I am getting one for a new daily driver. 6-speed, black interior. Either grabber blue or performance white. Ordering it next month after I drive one. Premium package/Brembos/HIDs/3:73s. Out the door for about 36K, can't beat it.

Thats going to be a nice! They would make a great daily driver. And the gas mileage isnt that bad at all. I would get the same, but does the premium have to come with a sunroof? I couldnt find out from online.

I just don't like Mustangs and there are way too many on the road! But as far as price/performance it's tough to beat!

As far as I know there is no sunroof. There is a glassroof option.

Very nice, good to hear. Did yall see the video of one of the Mustang part companies running in the 10's within 24 hours of receiving their 2011? Drag slicks and a 100 shot lol. Are you not going to get the electronics package?

While I am a big fan of the Boss 429, Mach 1's, and Cobra R variants, I have never really considered buying the run of the mill Mustang till now. I'd enjoy driving one to work I think. Ford did good (by all preliminary indications).

While I don't really like the changes to the rear end of the new Mustangs there is no doubt something to be said for the highest HP engine without a blower to be put into a Mustang.
Awesome!
So'now that FOMOCO has brought back the 5.0 how about a new Boss 429
Sure would look nice parked next to my 69

Yeah, that was Evolution Motorsports.

And nope, no electronics package for me. I didn't get the nav in the Z either.

Evolution ran it mildly modded but the first car to run it was heavily modded with 4.56's, a spool and a full drag suspension. I agree its an incredible bang for the buck!

I think it's a really great car. Ford hit a homerun with it, and should absolutely be commended.

At it's loaded price-point, I would still choose a multitude of other model used cars over it...but it's definitely blurred the lines a bit.

If you want a new car its very hard to beat the bang for the buck, and response to mods. The Camaro is also very close, especially when tuned but not as nice inside. But one optioned like I would want is pushing $40k and wow are there a lot of pre-owned choices! Especially with Z06's and CTS-V's in the $50k zone and I am sure into the $40k zone in about a year.
