one question though, if that jeep is used in off roading what happens if the front mount gets clogged with mud?

That is a good question. This jeep will most likely see light trail and hunting expeditions and maybe some light mudding. Nothing that will be deep enough to clog the intercooler. Having an open airfilter element under the hood, the deep water/mud capability are limited.

nice build, tell the owner, to watch out for premature Hub/bearing damage. I just had a lifted jeep come into the shop with both front hubs damaged. Only possible cause is the weight and diameter of the monster wheels. He's running similar sized Mickey's and has a very similar lift. FYI

thanks for the heads up, but these wheels and tires are not as heavy as you would imagine, on a similar sized set up by KMC etc.

The HRE's weight 23 pounds each, which is light compared to others used for Jeeps.

Didn't see an answer to my question on what it costs to build or buy......

My annual car buying expedition is (over)due to begin. The 911 Turbo is staying but the G550 may go......

I must have missed it my apologies.

We are asking 57k for the Jeep has under 2k miles, would cost over 65k to duplicate. Will be going on ebay this weekend.

No problem, nobody wants to listen to a guy that drives a Pinto.

For that much, I'll stick with my G-wagen honestly. I just can't justify the cost difference even if it's 30k. I have heated and cooled seats, a heated steering wheel, and a seat with more comfort adjustments than any car I know. Plus I can cruise off-road at high speeds in high comfort.
